The name Eriksonsson is a play on words and a reminder of all predecessors in the Eriksson’s family who in one way or another were, or are, artists: father Urban (photographer), uncles Magnus (actor) and Christer (author), aunt Christina (artist), grandfather Elis (artist), great-grandfather Elis in Taserud (artist), great-grandfather’s brother Christian (sculptor) and his son Liss (sculptor). In short, Eriksonsson is a suitable name, which represents continuity, credibility and creativity.
Danne Eriksson has more than ten years experience from both national and international communications work. Danne has a BA in political science and an MBA in strategic communications from Stockholm University where he also studied the program in marketing communications (IHR).
His photographic path began when Danne as an eight-year-old received his first box camera. Since then, cameras have always been a part of his life. Danne is self-taught along with courses at the University of Jönköping and Kelby Training.
